40 Years STRAKON with STRAKON 2025
Forty years ago, in 1984, the idea was born to program a CAD system for structural engineers. What was special about it was that from the beginning, just like today, all aspects of the software were developed from a practical point of view. You just look over the designer's shoulder and you can quickly see where the shoe is pushing.
STRAKON has developed considerably since then, because the tasks have also changed a lot in practice. The keywords for this are, for example, BIM or Industry 4.0. STRAKON has reinvented itself through the development of Cube (its own 3D computing core) from 2010. Today STRAKON is the leading CAD system for structural design, which sets the standards in the areas of bridge construction, civil engineering, high and civil engineering, in-situ concrete construction, prefabrication, scarf and reinforcement design, BIM in structural design and control of Industry 4.0 in production.

The Cube reinforcement, which is extremely popular because it is very easy and quick to use, allows you to work directly in the 3D. STRAKON 2025 offers a wide range of new possibilities in Cube reinforcement, which customers have suggested to us from the field. In addition to extended input options, many new correction functions have also been implemented. The issue of automated labeling of reinforcement also plays a role in STRAKON 2025.
The subject of 3D embedded parts is an integral part of STRAKON. Embedded parts can be used by a wide variety of manufacturers. The benefit is that you don't have to worry about production and billing when it comes to drawing or export presentation. All these things are already stored in the STRAKON embedded parts. Furthermore, 13,000 Isokorb thermal breaks have been upgraded and are available directly in STRAKON format for placement to the project. Individual care for each customer is thus dispensed with. Embedded parts can also be used more flexibly in STRAKON 2025. Here, too, numerous customer requests were realized.
Model and plan processing has also evolved in STRAKON 2025. Model structuring and the simultaneous processing of the project with several employees are now even more convenient and faster. The new Cube views are already being used in the field by many customers and occupy an increasingly important place in modern plan generation. In addition, recruitment sets in the function toolbars now lead to faster planning and another way to implement standardized office standards more easily in the team.
On the subject of prefabrication, STRAKON has developed enormously in the field of semi precast parts in the last two years. The products floor slab, double wall, isowall and solid wall are now fully integrated into STRAKON and are already in use in many prefabricated plants. The whole thing is based on the Cube platform and represents the most modern design of precast part.
